Privacy Policy
Last updated: 11 September 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Selitics FZ-LLC ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you use the Invoice Maker: Create & Track app and related services (the "Service"). We have written it to meet the standards of the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), and comparable laws, so that it applies wherever you are.
Plain-language summary (not a substitute for the full policy): We collect the information needed to run your account and your invoices, and the client details you choose to enter. We use it to provide the Service to you. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not show ads or track you across other apps. You can export or delete your data at any time from inside the app.
1. Who is responsible for your data
The data controller is Selitics FZ-LLC, Compass Building, Al Hulaila Industrial Zone-FZ, Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates.
For any privacy question or request, contact us at support@selitics.org.
2. The information we collect
Information you give us
- Account information — your name, email address, and password (stored only as a secure hash, never in plain text).
- Business profile — your business name, address, contact details, tax number, logo, and payment instructions, if you provide them.
- Your content — the clients, invoices, estimates, recurring schedules, saved items, and payment records you create. This can include personal information about your clients (their names, email addresses, phone numbers, addresses, tax identifiers, notes, and any photo you attach) that you enter.
Information collected automatically
- Technical and usage data — basic device and app information (such as app version and operating system) and server logs needed to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the Service.
We do not use third-party analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting SDKs in the app.
Information from third parties
- Subscription status from our subscription provider and the Apple App Store — whether you have an active subscription, when it renews, and whether it was cancelled or refunded. We never receive your card number; payments are handled entirely by Apple.
- Sign in with Apple, if you choose it — we receive your name and email address, or Apple's private relay address if you choose to hide your real one.
3. About your clients' data
When you enter details about your clients, you are the controller of that information and we process it on your behalf (as your processor) to provide the Service. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to store your clients' information and for responding to their privacy requests. We will help you meet those obligations through the export and deletion tools in the app.
4. How we use your information, and our legal bases
| Purpose | GDPR legal basis |
|---|---|
| Create and run your account; provide the core invoicing features | Performance of a contract |
| Store your data on your device and back it up to your account so it syncs across your devices | Performance of a contract |
| Send a payment reminder to a client's email address when you ask us to | Performance of a contract |
| Send you account emails, such as a password reset you request | Performance of a contract |
| Provide the free trial, process your subscription, and confirm your entitlement | Performance of a contract |
| Keep the Service secure, prevent fraud and abuse, and debug problems | Legitimate interests |
| Comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations | Legal obligation |
| Send you important service notices | Legitimate interests / legal obligation |
The app does not email your invoices for you. When you share an invoice, the app creates a PDF on your device and hands it to whichever app you choose through the iOS share sheet — we do not receive a copy of that message or its recipient.
We do not use your data or your clients' data for advertising, and we do not sell it.
5. How we share your information
We share personal information only as needed to run the Service, and only with:
- Our hosting provider, which runs the servers that store your synced data.
- Our subscription provider (RevenueCat, Inc.), which validates your purchase with Apple and tells the app whether your subscription is active.
- Our email delivery provider, where an email is sent on your instruction (such as a payment reminder) or to service your account (such as a password reset).
- Apple, for app distribution and payment processing.
- Authorities or others, where we are required by law, or to protect our rights, safety, or the Service, or to enforce our Terms.
- A successor, if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets — in which case we will require the successor to honour this Policy or notify you of any material change.
These providers may only process data on our instructions and under contract.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not "share" it for cross-context behavioural advertising as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA.
6. International data transfers
We are based in the United Arab Emirates and our providers operate globally, so your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including countries whose data-protection laws differ from yours. Where we transfer personal data internationally, we use appropriate safeguards required by law (such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses) to protect it.
7. How long we keep your data
We keep your personal information for as long as your account is active and as long as needed to provide the Service. When you delete your account, we delete or irreversibly anonymise your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must keep certain records to meet legal, tax, or accounting obligations or to resolve disputes.
Your data is also stored on your own device so the app works offline. Deleting the app from your device removes that local copy.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you have some or all of these rights:
- Access — get a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Portability — receive your data in a portable format (the app's "Export my data" feature).
- Rectification — correct inaccurate data (you can edit most data directly in the app).
- Erasure — delete your account and data ("Delete account" in the app).
- Restriction and objection — limit or object to certain processing.
- Withdraw consent — where we rely on consent, withdraw it at any time.
- Non-discrimination — we will not treat you unfairly for exercising your rights.
- Complain — lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
To exercise any right, use the tools in the app (Settings → Privacy & Security) or contact us at support@selitics.org. We will respond within the time required by law. We may need to verify your identity first.
9. How we protect your data
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), hashed passwords, credentials held in the iOS Keychain on your device, tenant isolation so one account cannot access another's data, and access controls on our systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and to notify you and the authorities of a breach where the law requires.
10. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Cookies and tracking
The app does not use advertising cookies or third-party ad trackers, and it does not track you across other companies' apps or websites. It stores only what is needed to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and run offline.
12. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make a material change, we will give reasonable notice (for example, in the app or by email). The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it last changed.
